Murdershock

Murdershock is a band from southern Finland combining elements from several metal genres such as death, thrash and hardcore. The band was formed in the year 2005 and a lot has happened since.

We don’t want to bore you to death with the details from the early days but few things should be mentioned. At autumn 2005 we started creating material for our first promotional CD that was titled “The Deathsicktwist”. In February 2006 the CD was finally ready. At the same time we started to look for another guitarist to join the band. After about six months of searching we found the right guy and Jokke joined in Murdershock. We rehearsed the existing material with Jokke and started to write new songs for our second promo-CD. During the recordings we faced problems with our original singer and we had to look up a new brutal guy to take over the vocals.

Oku joined the band as a new vocalist and the promo-CD “Inside my insanity” saw the light of day in February 2007. After Jokke and Oku joined Murdershock we can say that the line-up was finally ready for some serious live action. We did bunch of gigs until Jokke decided to quit the band in autumn 2007.
